A Bit of Negotiation

It seemed like the hourglass was harmless...for now...It's power was dormant.
Pharaoh's daughter frowned, "Why is your neck like that?"
"Bruise." Sai said as she observed the hourglass.
The other woman sighed, "So dull. I thought it'd be something magnificent. I'm going to say good bye to the Roman. Wish me luck."
Sai just frowned. "He's leaving?"
Shaking her head she tried to get rid of the thought of him. "Ugh..fine. I'll go"
she said to herself.

Mar along with his Legion grouped around the door as Mar walked up to Sai, "Lady Sai I would request the honnor of escorting you back home.."

Sai was speechless.
"M-me?" She looked at the other girls that would be accompanying them on the boat. "Why?"
She frowned. She was just a seer

"Yes, you Lady Sai." Mar said smileing, "Because I want to personally know that you got home safe Grease is quite far.."

Shifting from one foot to the other, Sai looked to the ground. No one ever wanted to escort her before.
"I...would like that very much." Giving a lowering of the head, "Thank you"

"Great, lets get started, shall we?" Mar asked as he locked arms with her and walked out the Palace with his Urban Cohort.

Tightening her grip along Mar's arm, the two boarded the ship.
"Why did you do this? You know you don't have to. No one would dare harm a seer."

"Because I want to, Lady Sai..." Mar whispered in her ear as he lead her to her room.

Letting a shudder run through her body, Sai suppressed it at the end. "That's...very kind of you."
It wasn't a far walk, "Where's yours?"

They reached the door and Mar opened it for her leading her inside. "Im sure this will be good for you. Mine is down the hall on the left."

Why did Sai care where his room was? Psch...
"Once again, thank you." Sai, for the first time, gave Mar a smile, "This would probably be a very dull voyage without you."
Sai froze, "not that I'm going to be speaking with you alot, or spending time with you, that.... is... would be odd."
Just then a cabin boy came up to the two, "Pardon me, but the Pharaoh has given you a gift in your room"

Sai almost laughed right then and there

"............" Mar just stared as the crates. "When where away from sight of the harbor dump it.." Mar said as he walked out.

Biting her lip to prevent laughter, Sai turned away to help her attempt.
Just then, the ship seemed to gain weight and it sunk a bit. "What...?"
Oh...The Pharaoh's gift...
The gift was a stone pillar with a pointed tip. The one with the carvings of Roman victories...
"Right." Sai said to herself, "That's why I didn't want to go in the same ship with the Romans."

"............." Mar stared at it. "Dump this also..." He sighed rubbing his face as they sailed off toward Greasse.
