A Bit of Negotiation

Mar nodded, “A Seer? Interesting, I have something for you but not with me at the moment. Only a Seer Could use it and sense I know no other seers other then you ill give it to you…” He walked with her wrapping his arm around her waist pulling her closer to his body as they walked. “Beautiful…” He muttered to himself looking at Sai more then the garden itself.

"It...is." Sai said. She was running out of words.
She didn't show it, but she was noticing, and concentrating a bit too much on the little bit of contact was was being made between them.
Unconsciously, the seer moved closer to Mar, "This whole place was given to the Pharaoh's daughter for her recent birthday. You might recognized some plants here."
Just then a noise came from the other side of the corner.
Sai froze. She couldn't be seen with Mar, alone. It was improper for a seer of her status. And besides. Rumors would fly.

"Yes, I have seen some planets in my travels though out the world." Mar said noticeing that she had moved closer to him and are now brushing against one another. "I have to admit im not sure I want to walk the Nile and back to lets see something else." Mar said looking down at her with his arm still wrapped around her wasit tightly.

Sai turned to face Mar directly when she noticed his grip tighten.
"Alright." She looked very serious. "You must understand that I am Greek, and Romans and Greeks HATE each other. So I hope that you're not expecting-"
As Sai was talking two little servant boys playing in the garden were running about and playing. Sai failed to notice this, and when she was getting closer to Mar for emphasis...
One of the boys pushed her while chasing the other, and gravity took place and her lips came in contact with Mar's.

"Your greek?" Mar asked out loud and looked down at the woman before he was suddenly kissed by her not noticeing the boys. He was shocked but kissed her back as he walked forward and pushed her up against a wall wrapping both arms around her, he kissed her passionletly.

*What. Just. Happened?!*
Before she could try to figure anything out, she felt as if she was on fire.
Now using her arms, she brought Mar closer.
Wait, this had to stop. She wasn't the one who...
She stopped thinking and kissed back.

Mar's cape covered them both as he kissed the Seer with fiery passion. He licked her lips asking for permission as he contined to kiss her.

"I never do this." Sai said while trying to catch her breath.
Running her fingers through his hair. She shyly opened her mouth to give Mar persmission

"Im sure you dont..." Mar said as he kissed her again with is tounge roaming her mouth until he captures her own.

Letting out a slight gasp, Sai immediately regretted it.
She had to stop being so weak...
Only for a little longer. Then she'll stop. She followed Mar's lead.

Mar played with her tounge alittle before breaking the kiss and kissing down her neck and sucking on it leaveing a mark.

Feeling herself get weak, she started to lean against Mar for support.
"I think..."she said softly when she felt Mar's actions, "We should head back to the-"
Torches started to appear, showing the advancements of guards. "Wait...guards are..."

Mar looked up and grabbed her hand as he pushed them behind a tree and covered themselfs with the cape until the guards passed by. He lead her back to the dineing room and gave her a kiss on the lips before walking back in like nothing ever happened.

A bit relieved that nothing was said, Sai walked to her place and took her seat.
"That took a while." The Pharaoh said with a small smile. "What's that on your neck?"
"What?"Sai stood up a bit too fast and a servant holding a platter of food fell. "Oh, sorry."
A crowd of people stared, but continued talking.
"What on my neck?" Sai whispered to the king.
Laughing now, the Pharaoh started to glance at Mar.
He wasn't going to say anything to her, so Sai cleared her throat, "It's just a bruise." This was said in Latin. She had gotten her languages mixed up.

Mar was currently talking with his legion, where they would be going and how long it would take. "How long till the Hourglass gets here?" Mar asked taking out a duel sided dagger one side blue and the other golden with sand inside of it spinning it around before holstering it. “It should be here any moment sir.”

*He left a mark...dang it...*
Sai felt like drowning. "What is that?"
The doors of the banquet hall opened up to reveal some roman solders carrying something. "That must be the gift?"
She told the Pharaoh.

Mar nodded as the hourglass brightend the room with it's golden sand comeing off it.

"What...does it...do?" Sai frowned.
Was this just an hourglass? It looked ordinary...but...
Many children started to gather. The object was new to them and they tried to see past the tall heads of the lords sitting down.
Pharaoh's daughter was the first to walk up and observe the object.

"What do you mean what does it do, it's an hourglass..." Mar trailed off, "Along with the holder of the ultimate evil..." Mar tried to ignore the dagger being drawn to the hourglass.

Sai wasn't fooled. She saw Mar's dagger being drawn to it.
"Your highness," She said to Pharaoh's daughter, "Please step back."
The girl ignored the seer and decided to touch the hourglass.

Mar said nothing as he leaned against the wall. All was safe long as the dagger was not placed inside the slot, that would open the Hourglass.

Sai walked over to Mar, "What is that really? There's a darkness about that relic."

This was spoken softly not to attract attention.

"If you do anything to harm them..."

"It's what it is an hourglass." He took out an amulet and clipped it around her neck then nodded as he returned to his legion.

A hand came to her shoulder as Sai was staring off after the Roman.
When Sai looked she saw the Pharaoh. "When are you leaving?"
"I'll...be going back to Greece tomorrow." She answered.
Smiling the Pharaoh thanked her. "I'm glad you came."
Nodding, Sai excused herself. "I need to get a closer look at the gift."
Looking at the amulet around her neck, Sai tucked it inside her clothes.

Mar along with his legion where getting ready to leave as Mar said his final goodbyes to everyone.
